This past year went by so fast that it made my head spin.  It seems like only yesterday that I was sporting a fashionably rotund belly and looking forward to the birth of our baby with great hope and anticipation.

Then along came our beautiful baby girl. So small and fragile, precious in every way.  The sleepless nights of the early days, the feedings every two hours, and the anxiety of learning how to care for this cherished child seem like a distant dream now.

Now she’s one year old. I look back and wish I could’ve slowed down the clock to delight in those special moments just a little more.  The past twelve months have been a dream and I am so grateful that I was able to be a stay-at-home mom during that time.  It is a time that I will treasure in my heart forever.
