I work in the Cash Office at the NEX and I agree with you. I rarely see Alaska coins. I do see a lot of Hawaii coins. Did you know that Hawaii isn't the last quarter to come out? Well, it is the last STATE quarter, but there are also quaters for Washington D.C and US territories. D.C. and Puerto Rico is out right now. Not sure which one is next but it could be Guam, U.S. Virgin Island or American Samoa.

You can find cool coin collecting folders or containers at The Hobby Company in Downtown Pearlridge. My co-worker is collecting quarters so I got her a holder from there. Thing about those holders is that there is 2 spots for each quarter for each mint.

WOW... I'm starting to sound like a seasoned coin collector. I guess with all the money I work with, I see a lot of cool stuff come through. Like the new Lincoln pennies that started this year and Silver Certificates. If you ever spot a bill with a star next to the serial number you might want to keep it. The star signifies that an error was made on the bill. It's like a collectors' item.
