Video: Caring for Cloth Diapers
As promised, here is part two of the diaper discussion. In this video, I talk about how I care for my cloth diapers and share some tips with you. Keep in mind, I’m a newbie mom, so I still have a lot to learn — so, if you are an experienced cloth diapering mommy, please share your experiences and opinions on the topic of cloth diapering with us by leaving a comment.
This is a follow up to my initial videolog entry entitled, An Introduction to Cloth Diapers and complements my written entry Cloth Diaper Care.

Who is Champuru?
Aloha, I'm Donna, known everywhere on the Internet as "Champuru." I was born and raised in Hawaii. I'm a Christian. I'm married to my best friend of 18 years, we struggled with infertility and successfully conceived via IVF (and by the grace of God!) in 2008. I resigned from my coveted "secure" government job to be a work-at-home mom to my 3-year-old daughter. Using my degree in Information Technology and the skills obtained in the marketplace, I started my own business. Now, I work from home, taking clients on a part-time basis, working in my PJ's while the little one sleeps. Life isn't always easy, but it's all good.

Hello! I found you by looking for Mommy Vlogs.
I enjoy vlogs and recently started adding them to my blog.
It was nice to hear you say the name of your blog. Otherwise I would have pronounced it wrong.
Are you on NewBaby.com? My user name there is Jendi and I’d love to add you to my friends.
I’ll be back.
wow great vlog! if you can sew, make your own wipes! all you need to do is cut to size and zigzag or serge the edges…i saw some of the ones you showed and it looks like the flannel from wal mart which is $3 something a yard! easy to make…promise =)
Hi is was just wondering. How do i stuff a pocket diaper, i use cloth prefold diapers to stuff it with and it always looks so bulky and it’s never even. is there a better way to stuff them?
Hi Crystal,
I use the Bum Genius inserts (not prefolds), so it fits well inside the pocket diaper. I haven’t tried using prefolds and I can imagine that they would be bulkier and more difficult to position inside the pocket. Unfortunately, I don’t have any suggestions for you there, since I don’t have any experience with that method. You can check out cottonbabies.com or go to Baby aWEARness store in Manoa, if you live in Hawaii, to purchase the inserts.
Good luck!
Donna
