Joyce gave me the perfect onesie for Baby Champuru yesterday.
I can’t wait to see her in it! 24 more days and counting! Any guesses for her actual arrival date? (Her due date is September 24.)

"Champuru" is an Okinawan stir fry dish, literally meaning a "mixture." In a figurative sense, it's similar to what locals would call "chop suey." A whole bunch of stuff, tossed in, mixed up to create a unique flavor. She selected this pseudonym years ago, mainly to relate to her Okinawan culture, but also felt that it was an appropriate way to describe her appreciation of many different cultures and interests. -

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe the day is almost here! I’m guessing she’ll arrive on September 25th (’cause that’s the day I’m coming home!) and I figure since you went through so much to have her she’s going to make it last just a weeeee bit longer.
