Cold water's always good; you can try cheese sticks or beef jerky or at Atkin's bar (really, even though beef jerky isn't "healthy" for a diabetic it's fine for blood sugar, but if you are salt sensitive and hypertensive--I'm sure you're not the latter--then that might be a concern).
