Who is Champuru?

Aloha, I'm Donna, known everywhere on the Internet as "Champuru." I'm a Christian, blissfully wedded to my perfect match (the yang to my yin) of 15 years and a stay-at-home mom to my miracle baby, born in October 2008. Living life in Hawaii, less than 5 miles from my hometown, seeking balance in her pursuit of family, faith, recreation, and rest. Read more on the About page.

Friday 5: Machinery

Friday 5‘ing on Saturday… :)

1. What was the last thing you purchased from a vending machine?
A bottle of water from the vending machine at the Olelo TV studios. I was trying to buy a Snickers bar, too, but it wouldn’t take the only dollar bill that I had. Perhaps that was a sign that I didn’t need to extra calories.

2. What was the last thing you made copies of on a photocopier?
Sensitive documents at work. I could tell you what they were, but then I’d have to kill you.

3. When did you last use a pay telephone?
I can’t even remember the last time I used a pay phone since I’ve had a cell phone since Hon Cell (now defunct) was in business.

4. How often do you visit an automatic teller machine?
Not that often since my Credit Union is in the same building as my office. I visit an ATM maybe twice a month, tops.

5. Which of your daily tasks would you most like to see automated?
Although I don’t do laundry daily, it would be great to have that task automated – from washing and drying, to ironing. I suppose there is an automated process for it if you have the money (i.e., laundry service), but I don’t. I’m sure once Baby Champuru arrives and we’re knee deep in dirty cloth diapers, the desire for an automated laundry service will be even greater.
