That is one of the famous lines in the movie Iron Man, said of himself, character Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey, Jr. When I first heard that Robert Downey, Jr. was playing a super hero, I was curious. In my opinion, he wasn’t your typical superhero type. Clearly. I had visions of him as Larry Paul, Ally McBeal’s endearing love interest — and, sadly, those famous mugshots — still stuck in my mind.

There are thousands of reviews of Iron Man on the web, so I’m not going to waste bytes rehashing what others have already stated. Let me just say that it was an enjoyable way to spend $9. The movie injected the right amount of humor, action, CGI, and of course, Downey charm which makes it a winner. And, Robert Downey, Jr. is a talented actor and was absolutely perfect for the part. Clearly.
