I didn't get an outtie though my belly button did get shallower. It returned to normal as the uterus shrunk back down to its usual size.

Nope. Outtie all the way for me....just looked like a strange flat ovoid shape on my tummy. I have to say, the best thing about that was that my bellybutton got a good cleaning! I love a clean bellybutton, and it felt great to finally have it free of dirt!

In my 3 pregnancies mine never went OUT. Mine's kinda squished to begin with and so with the pregnancies it just became an open hole. But never an outtie. Not even close. Heh!

Not all innies turn to outties... mine just went flat and looked like a weird deformity on my tummy...wasn't very attractive... but innie or outtie, it's all worth it in the end.

And by the way, I kinda think outties are cute! When they pop out, it means your almost done! :o)

My innie became a full blown outie then thankfully returned to an innie. LOL But wasn't so funny when I realized I couldn't wear t-shirt type maternity tops because the outie was obvious through the fabric and that was even through the preggie panel of my pants! Talk about Egads!

That was 20 yrs ago, I don't suppose much has changed since then except cuter diapers, better baby paraphernalia, and way cuter maternity clothes! (think "under construction" with an arrow pointing down to the belly!) And we thought it was cute at the time.

Double egads!
