In Between
Milestones: Today marks my 8th week of pregnancy and also a reduction of my daily progesterone shots from 2-1/2 to 2 cc. Let me tell you, 1/2 cc makes a big difference. When we went from 3 cc to 2-1/2, there was a noticeable difference in the discomfort and swelling. So, I’m excited about going another 1/2 cc down.
Lately, I’ve been so tired that I haven’t had the energy or the creativity to keep up my daily blog entries and my Blog365 commitment has sadly fallen by the wayside. Sleep has become one of my primary activities, clocking in literally 10-12 hours a day, which sometimes includes a late afternoon nap. Nurturing the Snowflake seems to be taking a lot out of me.
Next week, I return to my normal job, which requires me to wear business attire. I’ll have to go through my wardrobe soon, to see how much of my dress clothes actually still fit me. I cannot tell you the dread I have every time I stand in front of my closet just on a daily basis. I have a few items of maternity wear, but not enough to make a wardrobe. And, to make matters worse, the pieces that I do have are still slightly too big, so I end up looking like one big sloppy mess. Being in between pre-pregnancy clothes and maternity wear isn’t a fun place to be.
My second ultrasound is scheduled for Friday. Thankfully, Hubby is available to accompany me to the doctor this time, so he’ll get his first glimpse of the Snowflake.

Donna,
I’m so excited for you too that you’re in your 8th week of pregnancy and also a reduction of my daily progesterone shots!! Woo-hoo and congrats
Happy Valentine’s Day, Donna!
Ohh, and I must say I share that “dreadful” feeling every morning when I stand in front of my closet ~ decisions, decisions, decisions! LOL!!!
Hiya Donna
Trying to find outfits to fit can be really hard, especially if you are looking for comfort with a business look.
You might find wrap around tops the best choice, or a long line slinky vest under your jacket.

For comfort we also have our best selling apron trousers which have a panel accross the front and they tie at the back so you can adjust to fit.
