The stand-in

Published by Donna at 9:51 pm under conception / pregnancy

This week, Hubby is leaving for the Big Island on business, so his sister has agreed to wield the needle in his stead. Tonight, she came to obtain another training session with Hubby and, this time, she actually administered the progesterone injection for me. Needless to say, she was a little nervous at first, but she did a great job. I barely felt the needle and experienced minimal discomfort. Good job, sis-in-law!

It’s great to know that we have a capable backup for Hubby, just in case, for some reason, he can’t give me the shot. After all, it’s imperative that we don’t miss a single day!

@mars: It’s amazing the things that we will do for the sake of having children! Yes, I give my SIL massive kudos for doing this for me. My in-laws are totally awesome.
