Highlights from the 25th Okinawan Festival held at the Kapiolani Park in Waikiki, Hawaii on Labor Day weekend, August 31 - September 2, 2007. Featuring a slideshow of the parade and clips of performances by Hanayakara, Ryusei Daiko, Sosakudaiko Ryukyu Yuihana, and the Rinken Band. (TRT: 4 min)

Looks like it was awesome. Stinks that I missed the first part of the festival and made it to only Saturday Night and Sunday Afternoon. Great slideshow BTW.
Pint-sized Shimajiri Amakaa - a somewhat awkward reminder of my own sordid childhood. It looks like the festival was a whole lot of fun, though! Sad I missed it.
