Since I have a poor memory, I need to record everything. Champuru.net just happens to be my virtual notepad. The field trip to the doctor’s office and subsequent dinner and walk-about Ala Moana Shopping Center to wait out the traffic took a toll on me and I’m feeling pretty drained right now. (Which explains the bloodshot eyes you’ll notice in my video log entry below.) So, I’ll just make a list of key points:
The incision is healing well. The infertility specialist remarked a number of times about what a great job they (he and the surgical resident) did on my surgery and how straight the incision was. He was happy that it appeared to be healing very nicely. Thankfully, I don’t need to go on hormone therapy (depot lupron). Hooray! I will continue to take the birth control pills to suppress my cycles. I will start taking two kinds of prenatal vitamins. He expects to be able to start the in vitro fertilization process as early as mid-August. I can start moderate exercise after May 13 (four weeks after my surgery).
Things are moving swiftly. Mid-August is right around the corner and that’s when the madness begins. I hope you’ll be along for the ride!
A video log with me rambling about this stuff is posted in the previous entry or on the Champuru Videos archive page. On a technical note: I really need to get better lighting for my videos!
