Maternal Instincts?
Thanks, everyone, for dropping by, posting your comments and totally tempting me to bring another Apple into the Champuru household. (Thanks, also, for the folks who left a comment for the first time. It’s always neat to see new names — and discover your websites/blogs!)
I managed to resist the temptation to buy a MacBook and allow myself to yield to my practical side. Mind you, it’s not often that I do. Honestly, I am normally the first to jump on any opportunity to acquire new technology, but thoughts of costly medical procedures looming and the possibility of a baby or babies (!) in the near future gave me pause. Could it be, maternal instincts kicking in? We can only hope.
Although I am only allowing myself to be cautiously optimistic about this whole conception thing, my mind still wanders to thoughts of what it would be like to be a mother. After being married for 13 years, having the freedom to come and go as we please without having to think about childcare, diapers, schools, homework, soccer practice, etc., I wonder if I’ll be able to transition into parenthood without completely freaking out. I am confident that Hubby will fare just fine, but me… a lonely only with no experience with children, now that’s questionable.
As for the IVF, well, we’re still praying about it. We still have a few weeks before I go under the knife to make our decision. So much to think about and a long road ahead if we do indeed decide to move forward with it.

I don’t think we can actually go into parenthood without freaking out just a little bit. My wife and were at somewhere, I can’t remember, and were watching what could only be called the devil’s children just rampaging around. We looked at each other and said at the same time, “our kids won’t be like that.” LOL I hope not.
Sis I know what you can do whiled in bed…you can start by making a crochet blanket, and catching up with the tv…LOL…if you need anything you know i’m only 5 minutes away, and I’ll keep you company whiled you are home…just let me know when you need the company…love ya!
Move desk next to bed, angle monitor to optimize viewing.
and, and… *HUG* You’ll be a great mom.
