About
A 30-something Christian girl, blissfully wedded to her perfect match (the yang to her yin) of 14 years. Living life in Hawaii, less than 5 miles from her hometown, a slave to her mortgage payment, but seeking balance in her pursuit of family, faith, recreation, and rest.
"Champuru" is an Okinawan stir fry dish, literally meaning a "mixture." In a figurative sense, it's similar to what locals would call "chop suey." A whole bunch of stuff, tossed in, mixed up to create a unique flavor. She selected this pseudonym years ago, mainly to relate to her Okinawan culture, but also felt that it was an appropriate way to describe her appreciation of many different cultures and interests. -

happy new year donnachan! i’m finally all caught up on your vlogs! i wanted to tell you that if you have any questions on lupron depot, feel free to IM, email or call me. i just finished my 6 months treatment of it and the doctor tells me to hurry up and have a kid now (despite my lukewarm response to have one right now) before all the adhesions grow back and then to possibly have a hysterectomy this year. *sigh* we’ll see how i feel about it. but i suggest you take a lot of vitamins and caltrate to offset some of the bad side effects of lupron depot. as you know, it was hell for me personally. but then again, everyone reacts differently to it.
And now I know how to pronounce all those words.

@Winnie: Happy new year, Winnie! I will definitely be contacting you to get the inside scoops on the depot lupron treatment. I’m a little afraid of the side effects, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. Thanks for the tips. I’ll be looking into vitamins right away. I ran out of my current stash.

Donna, I don’t know if it’s an IE7 issue but I can’t view the videos now on this page. I was able to click on the URLs on the “champuru videos” page and view vlog #4. Best wishes again to you and your hubby on whatever God has in store for you on this journey.
