1. What kind of marks (grades) did you get in school? I was a B+ student.
2. Do you have any birthmarks? Yes, one on my left arm, just below the crook of my elbow. I was quite self-conscious about it for many years.
3. What’s the story behind one of your scars? I have two scars on the back of my right hand near the base of my thumb. When I was 16, my friends and I were contemplating jaywalking across the street. (Yes, I know. Not smart.) Wade and I started running across the street, while my other friend Kory thought it wasn’t safe to cross yet. She reached out to stop me, two of her fingernails digging into the back of my hand. Needless to say, I had already gained momentum in the opposite direction and the only thing that was left behind with Kory at the curb was my skin under her fingernails. Nearly 17 years later, I still bear the scars to prove it.
4. What do you usually use to mark your place in a book? I have a few bookmarks, but I generally just use any piece of scrap paper that happens to be handy.
5. What famous Mark do you most admire? Mark Twain
