Back from the Big Island

Laupahoehoe
Laupahoehoe, Hawaii (Big Island)

I’m back from the Big Island and I hit the ground running. There are so many things going on at the same time, so I’m taking a moment to catch my breath and pretend that I’m back at Laupahoehoe, listening to the waves crash against the lava rocks and feeling the cool sea breeze on my face.

Okay, the moment has passed. Back to work.

That’s where I grew up! I loved going down to the Point especially on overcast windy days. My dad would take us down there and we’d sit and watch the waves crash on the rocks feeling the spray of salt air. Not to mention listening to the thundering sound of the waves crashing. I really miss those “small kid” days!
