I’m alive!

Just a quick note to report that I am alive!

I survived the procedures: D&C, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and a chromopertubation. I even came home with pictures of my innards. (Don’t worry, I will not subject you to them.) They inflated my tummy and made two incisions: one in my belly button and another a couple inches below that. Thus, the gauze over my piko in the photo. Aside from that, I’m relatively unscathed.

Belly Button

I’m going to lie down and relax a bit. Maybe watch a foreign movie or two. Funny ones. I’ll give a full account of the experience later.

Mahalo for your thoughts and prayers and I certainly appreciate the comments you left on my previous entry! *hugs to everyone*

great! to speedy recovery! sounds like they tried to make it as minimally invasive as possible. laparoscopy really rocks. it’s like playing video games, but in someone’s tummy. =) i took an animal surgery class in college, and had to do a laparoscopic procedure, and it was one of the strangest but wonderful thing i’ve gotten a chance to do. anyways, get pampered and rest up, and have a happy new year.
