RainstormThe rain is coming down in torrents outside. Thunder roars overhead and brief flashes of light pierce the darkness. It’s perfect snuggle weather for a good book and a cup of hot cocoa. Incidentally, that’s what I’m preparing right now. The book I’m curling up with tonight is “Untangling My Chopsticks: A Culinary Sojourn in Kyoto” by Victoria Abbott Riccardi. My hot water is boiling. I’m off to enjoy this lovely thunderstorm in bed.

Of course, I’d much rather be snuggled up with Hubby, but he’s busy watching football on pay-per-view: UH vs. Boise. 
I love being warm & cozy at home when it’s raining, too….thunder, tho…that scares me.
Too bad it’s dry here in Honolulu. Enjoy that cocoa for me!

Next month, i am finally going to Hawaii for the first time of my life! i’ll spend 3 days in Honolulu and 4 days in Maui. Don’t know much of what to see yet but I am totally excited about the trip!
Yep, that UH vs. Boise game sure was a heartbreaker. A good game, nevertheless – at least that’s what I heard.
Annalise, I hope you have a wonderful time in the islands! If you want me to send you some brochures, just drop me a line. (I can pick up the tourist guides from the airport.)
